Björk, de son nom complet Björk Guðmundsdóttir, est une musicienne, chanteuse, auteure-compositrice-interprète, productrice et actrice islandaise née le 21 novembre 1965 à Reykjavik. Remarquée pour sa voix couvrant trois octaves et sa personnalité excentrique, elle a développé un style musical éclectique au cours de ses quatre décennies de carrière, s'inspirant des musiques électronique, pop, punk, jazz, alternative, expérimentale, trip hop, classique, traditionelle et avant-gardiste. Björk commence sa carrière musicale à l'âge de 11 ans et se fait d'abord connaître mondialement comme la chanteuse du groupe de rock alternatif The Sugarcubes à 21 ans. Après la séparation du groupe en 1992, la chanteuse commence sa carrière solo avec Debut en 1993.
