Michael Gambon
Sir Michael John Gambon (19 octobre 1940 - 27 septembre 2023) était un acteur irlandais-anglais. Gambon a commencé sa carrière d'acteur avec Laurence Olivier en tant que l'un des membres fondateurs du Royal National Theatre. Au cours de sa carrière de six décennies, il a reçu trois Olivier Awards et quatre BAFTA TV Awards. En 1998, il a été fait chevalier par la reine Elizabeth II pour services rendus au théâtre. Gambon a joué dans de nombreuses productions d'œuvres de William Shakespeare telles qu'Othello, Hamlet, Macbeth et Coriolanus. Gambon a été nommé pour treize Olivier Awards, remportant trois prix pour A Chorus of Disapproval (1985), A View from the Bridge (1987) et Man of the Moment (1990). En 1997, Gambon a fait ses débuts à Broadway dans Skylight de David Hare, ce qui lui a valu une nomination au Tony Award du meilleur acteur dans une pièce.
