Cyndi Lauper
Cynthia Ann Stephanie Lauper, dite Cyndi Lauper, est une chanteuse, compositrice, actrice et activiste américaine née le 22 juin 1953 à New York aux États-Unis. Sa carrière commence début des années 1980. Son album She's So Unusual (1983) est le premier d'une artiste féminine à atteindre les quatre premières places du Billboard Hot 100 - Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Time After Time, She Bop, et All Through the Night - et vaut à Cyndi le Grammy Award du meilleur nouvel artiste aux 27e Grammy Awards en 1985. Son succès se poursuit avec la bande originale du film Les Goonies et son deuxième album True Colours (1986). Ce dernier comprenait la chanson-titre qui devint le single numéro un. Depuis 1983, elle a sorti onze albums studio et participé à de nombreux autres projets, dont le double album The Wall Live in Berlin de Roger Waters en 1990.
