Whitney Houston [ˈwɪtni ˈhjustən], née le 9 août 1963 à Newark (New Jersey) et morte le 11 février 2012 à Beverly Hills (Californie), est une chanteuse, actrice, productrice de musique et mannequin américaine. Née en 1963 dans le New Jersey, Whitney Houston, cousine de Dionne Warwick, est une surdouée de la musique et est très vite surnommée "The Voice" quand sa carrière musicale débute. Elle remporte six Grammy Awards au cours d'une carrière fructueuse derrière le micro (170 millions de disques vendus), mais malheureusement entachée de nombreux problèmes de drogue et de santé depuis le début des années 2000. Whitney Houston s'est aussi illustrée devant des caméras de cinéma. Elle est ainsi l'héroïne de l'inoubliable Bodyguard (1992) aux côtés de Kevin Costner, mais aussi de la comédie dramatique Où sont les hommes ?
